Ski4You 2022 was a success!
This year’s #Ski4You fundraiser took off in beautiful weather over an amazing weekend of community and hard work! Our 11 skiers came together to help us reach and exceed our $25,000 fundraising goal.
We want to give a special thanks to our donors, friends, family, and sponsors! It is with your commitment of time, treasure and intentionality that we will be able to serve more youth than ever before in the upcoming year.

Headed to the start
Our skiers hopped on the shuttle with their gear to head to the Birkie starting line. Ski poles galore!

Bumping into the Birkie Warrior
A Birkie tradition which involves a renactment of the historical birkebeiner event! Check out the birch bark on his legs and his old-timey skis!

Time as a community
Our 11 skiers came together and took time out of their busy lives to take on 50 km. From hanging out in the ski lodge eating “a heck of a lot of pasta” to cheering each other on mid-race, it was rewarding to see the community that our Encircled skiers have built.
Our skiers even made some new connections with other Birkie skiers who have an interest in ministry. It was amazing to come together as a circle and community to share in a passion and a love for youth ministry.
Why do we #Ski4You?
This year our Ski4You fundraiser is working towards a goal of $25,000 to help fund our Encircled's expansion!
Encircled has been hard at work getting ready for our expansion come this summer! It is with your help that we will be able to grow to encircle over 1000 youth in the next year — a campaign we have been calling “Encircled1000”.
COMING SOON: Encircled's Online Experience!
Encircled has been hard at work developing a way to connect youth with their circles and communities in a digital world. In order to help connect more youth than ever before with circles of supportive family, mentors, friends, and faith community, Encircled needs to optimize!
Encircled’s Personal Journey, which has been our method since Encircled began in 2018, involves an individual youth centered approach. In this method, Encircled trains coaches within a faith community to meet with youth one on one and run the Encircled Personal Journey curriculum.
Encircled’s NEW Group Journey takes a more community-oriented approach with a youth group. The Group Journey takes the same steps as Personal journey as we invite youth to consider their identity, explore their giftedness, develop a plan, and build a circle of support. The Group Journey also will feature the online experience.
